Nach Oh Ah, Monokini, Juke-Box-Alarm, My Melody, Musique Automatique,
Do The Bambi, Discothèque und Party Anticonformiste - The Bungalow Years
erscheint Stereo Totals neue Platte: "Paris <> Berlin" ... hier auf Disko B.

"Paris <> Berlin" ist ein Rock’n’Roll- und ein Chanson-Album. Es ist zugleich
dynamischer/härter und romantischer als Stereo Totals’ früheren Produktionen.
Auf dem CD-Cover werden Brezel Göring und Françoise Cactus als nacktes
Liebespaar dargestellt. Die Aufnahmen klingen ziemlich natürlich und rough.
Auf überflüssige Sound­effekte wurde verzichtet, dadurch wurden Nähe und
Wärme erzeugt. Die Songs sind zum größten Teil sehr melodiös, die Themen
der Lyrics: Liebe, Rebellion und Nostalgie.

Natürlich werden die beiden mit diesem Album auch auf Tour gehen:

Mit ihrer Debüt Maxi auf Disko B (DB146 - mit Acid Pauli Remix) konnten sie
schon mächtig punkten. Ihr Minialbum kommt Ende August auf ihrem eigenen
Label 22. Jahrhundert Fuchs raus und wir freuen uns auf noch mehr treibende
Electrobeats, peitschende Gitarrensounds, experimentelle bis melodiöse
Klarinetten-, Trompeten-, und Maultrommelsoli, einer selbst gebauten Axtgitarre,
dadaistisch anmutende Texte, zweistimmigen Gesang und jede Menge exotische
Samples die den Begriff des Electro-Rock/Pop um das Moment der Schrägheit
erweitern.

now coming up is Stereo Total’s new record: "Paris<>Berlin" … Here on Disko B

"Paris <> Berlin" is both - a Rock’n’Roll and a Chanson-Album. At the same time it’s more dynamic as well as more romantic than Stereo Total’s previous productions. On the CD-cover you can see Brezel Göring and Françoise Cactus shown as naked lovers. The recordings sound very naturally and pretty ’rough’. There are no superfluous sound effects, resulting in a production evoking intimacy und warmth. The songs are for the most part very melodic, the lyrics deal with topics like LOVE, REBELLION and NOSTALGIA.

Now they will release their brand new minialbum on their own label, 22.Jahrhundert Fuchs and so we are looking forward to more impulsive electro-beats, wicked guitar sounds, experimental to tuneful clarinet-, trumpet-, and jews-harp-soli, a self-built axe-guitar, female and male vocals chanting dada-influenced lyrics, and a lot of exotic samples.
