Now here
comes the new stuff of Richard Hinge, best known for his dark
energy and minimalism that is as mental as it is dancefloor.
The long awaited follow up to the year 2000 12” `Return
From Freya EP` is a masterpiece of New Jersey Techno as Richard
Hinge established. The 4 Tracks come along with a strong mixture
of complex Electro and strong techno. The founder of Conrail
Records and producer for the N.Y.C. based Hidden Agenda label
created 4-Tracks which slam through your bones with a minimalistic
concept. The opener `Pressure` is a cruel Skinny Puppy`esque
electro smasher and bone grinder. Changing directions the
following track `Transmit` is slightly distressing but harmonic.
The title track "Music, Music, Music" moves slowly
like a creeping insect from Burroughs Naked Lunch. Hinges
new tracks tend to behave like particles under the microscope:
if you are turning your back on them, they won` t react the
same as, they move to the opposite and want to catch you.
