AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!
"The
best of both worlds" is the expression which describes
the music of Jay Denham best. Our man from Kalamazoo, a small
city located right in the geographical middle between the
cradles of House and Techno, Chicago and Detroit, is back
with his third album for Disko B! After his debut "Escape
To The Black Planet" (1998) and the follow-up "Synthesized
Society" (1999) Denham is once again pushing his music
- black futuristic techno-house - one step further into another
funky techno-soul direction. On his last album Denham used
vocals to explore new territories - on "The Truth"
they have become an integral part of his music. Having experienced
all ups and downs in life during the last few years Jay Denham
sure has gotten older but not old, and gotten wiser but still
far away from wise. The man is still hot when behind the turntables
and performing a live set (premiere at the digital/analog
festival 2007 in Munich). Jay Denham's newest album project
"The Truth" shows Jay's music diversity other then
the "banging techno" he is known for. This album
has house, electro, and some funky techno.
